SISO 4 SDU

WHO IS THIS FOR

  • Whole teams and their managers

  • Culture, HR and OD leads

  • Organisations starting a psychological safety journey

THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU IF...

  • Your team is quiet in meetings, but problems surface later

  • Mistakes get hidden rather than shared

  • You want practical behaviours, not just theory

RATIONALE

Silence about workload, mistakes and concerns is costly and largely invisible. Low-safety teams hide risk and accumulate stress until it becomes a crisis. Participants explore why people stay silent, apply SCARF and the 4 Stages of Psychological Safety, practise supportive communication using Psychological First Aid, and leave with a team action plan.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain psychological safety using recognised workplace frameworks

  2. Identify behaviours that build or undermine psychological safety

  3. Recognise social and environmental triggers of psychological threat

  4. Communicate supportively using Psychological First Aid principles

  5. Develop practical strategies to strengthen safety in their team

WHY THIS COURSE, WHY NOW

Psychological safety is now widely recognised as a driver of performance, innovation and safety. In hierarchical Asian workplaces, building it takes deliberate, practical effort.

What sets it apart: Links psychological safety to early support through Psychological First Aid, with a practical action plan for every team.
