Every workplace has moments that test us. A difficult conversation. An unexpected setback. Team conflict. Mounting pressure. In these moments, our emotions can either drive our reactions or strengthen our response.

WFR Emotional Regulation & Mental Agility at Work (Emotional First Aid) equips participants with practical skills to recognise emotional activation early, regulate emotions effectively and respond with greater clarity, confidence and composure before situations escalate.

Grounded in neuroscience, emotional regulation and Psychological First Aid principles, this course provides practical tools to help participants remain mentally agile, communicate effectively and perform at their best under pressure.

Prerequisites

To maximise learning and application, participants are strongly encouraged to have attended:

  • WFR – Foundational Psychological First Aid (FPFA)

This programme provide the essential foundations in recognising distress and creating safe environments, allowing this course to focus more deeply on leading real conversations with confidence and skill.

About this programme

This is a practical, non-clinical workplace capability programme that develops emotional regulation, mental agility and emotionally intelligent responses in everyday workplace situations.

Participants will learn tevidence-based regulation techniques that can be applied immediately to challenging conversations, workplace conflict, customer interactions and high-pressure situations. Through realistic scenarios and guided practice, participants will build greater self-awareness, resilience and confidence while contributing to a psychologically safer workplace.
